Mission Statement
The North Park Visitors Bureau is a trade association that was formed by the lodging businesses in Jackson County. Our mission is to pursue the improvement of business conditions in the North Park area by placing priority on activites undertaken to promote tourism and recreation in North Park. Specifically, the NPVB is developing a marketing program to increase public awareness of the diversity of recreational activites: industry trade shows, an internet presence, targeted advertising, sponsorship of events, and other venues to be identified in the future. These activites will be designed for the benefit of the entire area, and not for any one business. We believe that improving lodging utilization in the area wll benefit all businesses located in North Park.
Funding for these activities is provided through the application of a lodging surcharge of 3%. The NPVB has been incorporated as a non-profit trade association with a 501c (6) tax exempt status. AIn August of 2007, each of the lodging members of NPVB began charging the 3% lodging surcharge to its guests.
The voting membership of NPVB will be considering various marketing programs and then developing budgets for the implementation of those plans. The NPVB will be seeking relationships and partnerships with the lodging, tourism, and recreational industries to create opportunities to promote the North Park area, as well as support and continue the many efforts already underway within the local business community.

North Park has TWO fantastic ice fishing tournaments that take place annually on premium fishing destinations in Northern Colorado. Low entry fees and large cash prizes draw a big crowd for these events. Young and old enjoy the two day tournaments and most competitors have been attending for years! Registration forms for both contests are conveniently located here on the North Park Visitors Bureau website. We look forward to having you in attendance at this years events!
